May 1, 2021 Chery Automobile unveiled its current and future manifestation of power technology at the 19th Shanghai International Industry Exhibition. Under the umbrella of “Chery Power,” the new and upcoming power solutions are consistent with the Chinese automaker core values of technological innovation, superior designs, and excellent product quality where all travel situations are met, ensuring a lifetime of outstanding customer experience.

The latest technological achievements are a cumulation of more than 24 years of research and development that set Chery at the forefront of green, smart travel globally. Built upon the highly advanced @life platform, Chery will produce environmentally conscious and highly recyclable core technologies for a new generation of vehicles, the little Ant Z and the Big Ant X. The new, totally electric concept vehicles had turned heads at the exhibition for their sci-fi appearance and capabilities.

The Little Ant Z features a naturalistic, sharp exterior with an exquisite interior to match, powered by a customizable color layout demonstrating Chery’s well-earned reputation as a slick, urban automotive manufacturer. On the other hand, the Big Ant X is equipped with V2X technology, 5G internet, and L4 intelligent assistant driving system, all consolidated in a futuristic, starship-like vehicle design.

Complete electric is not the only front where Chery is excelling, as “Chery Power” provides a wide array of intelligent solutions for fuel, hybrid and hydrogen powers. The Chery 2.0 TGDI engine, for example, has a maximum power of 192KW and a peak torque of 400 N.M, bringing top strength in fuel power. The Chery DHT, on the other hand, is the world’s first fully configured hybrid with nine working modes and eleven combined gears, guaranteeing the ultimate smooth driving experience.

“Chery Power” spearheaded a vigorous endeavor to develop high-quality, reliable intelligently powered vehicles to meet the ever-shifting needs of users. Constant innovation left its mark in the first quarter of 2021, where Chery achieved a cumulative sales volume of nearly 140,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 102%. With the upcoming Chery 4.0 Power Architecture era, the Chinese automaker expects a new round of sales growth in the future
