This is the fifth consecutive time that Chery has won this international award with the reputation of "Quality Olympics"

From November 24 to 26, the 46th ICQCC (International Conference on QC Circles) was held in Hyderabad, India. Chery QC team participated in this conference as one of the Chinese representatives and was selected from 904 QC teams to win the highest award of the conference - the Gold Medal. This is the fifth consecutive time that Chery has won this international award with the reputation of "Quality Olympics".
The ICQCC originated in the mid-1970s, and was jointly initiated by 13 national and regional industry standardization associations, such as China Association for Quality, Singapore Productivity Association, Japan Alliance for Science and Technology, and Korea Standardization Association. As a grand event for international exchanges and competitions of quality management team activities, ICQCC is known as the "Quality Olympics" for its large scale and wide range in the field of quality management. The conference, themed "Quality Philosophy for Social and Economic Transformation", was organized by the Quality Circles Forum of India (QCFI), an ICQCC member, and was attended by more than 3200 delegates from 13 ICQCC member countries (China, the United States, South Korea, India, Japan, etc.).

Chery QC team participated in this meeting with the topic of “Reducing the vehicle jitter in the development stage of models”. This topic takes user experience quality as the starting point and centers on the degree to which this issue affects the user's driving experience. Team members constantly broke through the quality and technical bottleneck in the improvement of the topic, made continuous quality and technical innovations, systematically solved the problem of poor vehicle jitter experience, successfully reduced the vehicle jitter failure rate to 0.25%, and greatly improved the user's car experience and driving and riding pleasure. The results were published in China as a quality technical paper, providing a reference and solution to a similar problem in the automotive industry.

Chery always regards quality as the life of an enterprise and takes the lead in establishing a global quality management system among Chinese auto companies. Chery QC team is an important part of the quality management system. Chery has always taken the user-centered approach to improve the product and marketing experience, and constantly improves user satisfaction. In the 2021 China Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) report released by J. D. Power, Chery Tiggo 2 Pro topped the list of Chinese mini SUVs by an absolute margin, reflecting Chery's ultra-high quality.

Supported by a strong quality system, Chery's products have been recognized by users around the world. Since the beginning of this year, in the face of the pandemic, a "chip shortage" in the industry, rising prices of bulk materials and other complex issues, Chery still maintained the momentum of rapid growth, with cumulative sales of 739,730 vehicles from January to October, up 44.3% year over year. In terms of export, Chery has exported 212,959 vehicles, up 145.7% year over year, breaking the 200,000 annual export mark and setting a new export record for Chinese passenger cars.
